Week ending 5/3/20    1  Revised and consolidated /v/& z/and their words. Unit 7: ‘My neighbourhood’ continued, watched  videos about different  neighbourhoods and discussed, by answering the  who, what, where, why & when questions, revised  personal pronouns and introduced possessive pronouns, revised the names of different buildings/places in the neighbourhood. Filled in the pronouns, and missing letters of the names of places in the neighborhood.  Drew own home and wrote a sentence. Thank you very much to those parents who dressed up their children for Book Day. We really appreciate the effort and your cooperation.
Week ending 5/3/20    2 Discussed key words of fairy tale, revised /l// d/ and /k/,. Unit 7 about ‘Fairy Tales’ continued; students listened to different fairy tales and discussed the characters and setting, the beginning, middle and end of a story.  Answered  questions by  eliciting answers to who, what, where, why, when question, talked about favourite story character, revised the past tense, fill in the missing letters of the story characters, write sentences to describe the story characters.     Thank you very much to those parents who dressed up their children for Book Day. We really appreciate the effort and your cooperation.
Week ending 5/3/20    3 Revised word starting with /bl/ and /kl/, revised food vocabulary, continued unit 7: ‘Are you hungry?’  Discussed the different meals during the different times of the day. Consolidated countable and uncountable nouns, revised the use the words, a lot, some, few when referring to quantities, introduced a cup of…, a bottle of…, a bowl of …, etc.  Drew a picture and wrote sentences about their favourite fruit or vegetables. Students read food related stories in groups and performed the story. Thank you very much to those parents who dressed up their children for Book Day. Week ending 5/3/20    4 Revised word endings with /nd/ and /nk/ . Revised communication vocabulary.  Continued unit 7: ‘Hello, may I speak to?’ (The telephone), read a text about communication in the past and answered the comprehension. Introduced the present perfect, past simple and past participle tenses , filled in the different words used related to the use of a telephone, listened to and participated in a telephone conversation and wrote down a message card/ note for someone Thank you very much to those parents who dressed up their children for Book Day.
