Welcome to Amaad Private School

I am pleased to welcome you to Amaad Private School. It is a great honor to be the president of such a thriving school community where high aspirations and caring family ethics are at the heart of what we do.

Our goal at Amaad Private School is to provide an excellent educational service for the children of Salalah, as we provide students with a safe and pleasant environment with well-trained professional staff to guide and facilitate their learning in Arabic and English – and for the academic year 2020/2021 and beyond, we will offer French and Chinese as additional languages.

What makes a child gifted may not always be good grades in school, but it is a different way of looking at the world and learning.

More classes

This year (2020-2021) we are pleased to offer grades 5 and 6 in addition to the KG1-4 that we offered last year. It is only fair that some of the older students are given the opportunity to attend this school and benefit from its educational programs and assets.

Teaching is teamwork

The international teaching style we nurture will ensure that children receive an education based on the best, well-documented global experiences. In the early years, most children's learning will be through discussions and clear instructions to ensure a strong understanding of the language as well as the basics of literacy and numeracy; This will smoothly transfer to a more student-centered curriculum as students develop their knowledge base and learn to be more analytical and independent. We will also continue to use the materials as recommended by the Ministry of Education.

WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE EVERY CHILD WITH A PERSONALISED EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY IN A SAFE, CHEERFUL AND CARING ENVIRONMENT, WHERE EVERY STUDENT IS ENCOURAGED, AS MENTIONED IN OUR GUIDING STATEMENTS, TO BE BRILLIANT. FOR US, A BRILLIANT STUDENT IS KIND, DILIGENT AND CURIOUS. WE STRIVE TO ACHIEVE THIS BRILLIANCE JUST AS WE STRIVE FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT; AND WE VALUE BOTH ELEMENTS EQUALLY.

without homework

For elementary school students early, there is a large number of research that shows the ineffectiveness of homework; We are sure that our teaching during school hours is sufficient for young children to learn and follow the curriculum.

We offer “open days” two or three times a year, which give current and prospective parents an opportunity to come and watch classes at work. In the meantime, academic life continues as usual but with the doors open – so we ask to keep calm as well

The extracurricular program is designed to provide students with opportunities to discover other traits and skills they may have, and of course to give them some fun as well.

For any further information, please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
